Visit to New York: United Nations & APAP conference

Debra Hoskins, Executive Director of the Lancaster Grand Theater, was a guest at the United Nations earlier this week. She was in attendance at the New Year Concert for the 67th General Assembly, which featured the Viva Vox Choir of Serbia. Hoskins met with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who has led the United Nations since 2007 and is the eighth Secretary-General of the organization.

While in New York, Hoskins attended the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters while she continues to book premier talent for the inaugural season at the Lancaster Grand Theater. The theater, which is in process of being completely restored, is set to open this Spring. Upon completion of renovations, the Lancaster Grand will boast state-of-the-art digital sound, lighting and projection technologies.
